KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp 2027: Fully Funded Research Internship in Saudi Arabia

The KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC) 2027 is a fully sponsored six-week research internship at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. The programme is designed for senior undergraduate students, recent graduates and Master’s students interested in electrical and computer engineering and microelectronics.

What Will Participants Do?

Participants will work on hands-on research projects in modern microelectronics, under the mentorship of KAUST faculty and experts. The programme includes technical workshops covering areas such as integrated circuits, 3D printing, inkjet printing and self-assembly.

Participants will also design a gadget prototype, develop research and e-poster skills, participate in an e-poster competition and attend networking and social activities.

Eligibility

Applicants should:

• Be a senior undergraduate, recent graduate or current Master’s student in electrical and computer engineering-related disciplines.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher.
• Demonstrate strong English language proficiency.
• Have strong motivation for research.

Required documents include an updated CV, official transcripts in English and a passport copy for international applicants. Selected candidates must also pass interviews with KAUST faculty and administration.
